How to complete experience calibration

The most useful calibration information is a real experience you can describe honestly. Use your own words. You do not need to know traditional terminology or make every year sound like a turning point.

Choose a format

Quick calibration reviews one year. Full calibration reviews three, providing a broader picture. The number of completed entries is not a prediction-accuracy score or an assessment of your life.

What to include

  • What happened: a job change, a relationship or a different family arrangement.
  • What it meant for you: more stable income, increased pressure or less communication.
  • How certain you are: give a year you remember, or state the uncertainty clearly.

For example, “I changed industries in 2022. My income fell for the first six months and then became more stable” gives more useful context than “It was an unlucky year.”

If you cannot remember

When confirming a year, use the option to replace it if it is unsuitable. Skip questions you cannot answer. Do not infer an event from the wording of a question, and do not turn an ordinary experience into an extreme one to fit an interpretation.

Save and continue

After each round, check the confirmed progress. If saving fails, keep your current answers and follow the retry guidance. If the status is uncertain, recover or check the record first. Once finished, return to the original conversation to discuss your current question.

Later, use calibration management to review or add information. If you correct birth details, recheck the relevant calibration status.
